Ryan took us up the canyon to a beautiful lake for a fishing trip. We learned about fishing safety, what bait to use for the trout we were trying to catch, and supplies we needed to take at preschool the day we went. They packed their own bags and shopped for the supplies. They were really excited and loved it all, even though they only fished for a matter of minutes. "Feeding" the fish dirt and rocks was the most exciting part for them. As you can imagine, that didn't help us catch any fish, but they enjoyed the adventure. It got really cold right when the sun went down, so the boys and I got in the car and watched Dad for a while.

How fun and what great pictures. So many good ones. I love the one of you and Logan...twiners. Also the one of the 2 little heads peeking out the window. Kudos to you Ryan for venuring out to fishing with the fam.
