Ryan used a little hatched to cut out these oak trees. He was so great to do it with that little thing. He cut out a little grove for us in the middle there. It's so nice to have a fun shady place to play. I can't wait til we have some grass to play on! It might not be for a year or two, but even so, it's nice to have a little ground to play on that doesn't have weeds or trees!
Here's our first strawberry of the season! Braxton loves the strawberry plants. He goes to "check on the strawberries" at least a couple of times a day. It's so fun to see how excited he gets.Logan climbs up on Braxton tricyle and stands up on the seat. He loves just sitting (or standing) on it. So funny.

Braxton loves to help Ryan in the yard. He takes a shovel or a rake and hits the ground mimicking what Ryan says about the landscaping. Example "This ground is rediculous!" The other day he came and said, "Mom, watch" He took the hoe and dug up a rock about the size of his fist and continued ranting and raving about how huge the rock was that he just dug up. Ryan had dug up a boulder the day before and had me come and look at it. :>

How fun to be getting started on the yard. I remember that feeling. It does take a while but each step brings you a little closer. How's the strawberry?
What a little daredevil you have on your hands (Logan...actually both of them). The strawberry looks awesome, as does the yard (good job Ryan and Braxton). It is great that the boys are learning where real food comes from and how long it takes to get it...and eventually how yummy it is :)
yea for the first fruits!! I can't wait for the gardening harvest!
