Logan's 3 Yr Well Check

We took our little Logan into the doctor for immunizations and a well check. The doctor came in and looked at his stats that the nurse had recorded... "Whatever your feeding him keep feeding him." I laughed and asked why. He said Logan is in the 91st percentile for height and the 86th for weight. I was excited to hear that he has some throw-back genes from grandparents. :)

Logan is such a delightful boy. He is sweet, loving, kind, loooooooves working hard. He can focus on any one job really well for a little guy. When he was little he put all of his blocks away in their basket, then proceed to dump them out and do it all over again. Working was, and still is, playing to him.

He has a stinker side to him that is very entertaining and can even border on being adorable... probably not so cute as a teen. He can be extremely stubborn, likes to push my buttons and knows just how to do it. Logan has a special love for animals. His happy places ae petting zoos, pet shops and mostly being with his papa's. He loves, "Papa's tows" (cows). He could spend everyday feeding and being outside up at Papa and Nana's ranch and not want to go anywhere else! He has also fallen in love with my parent's chickens. When we visit he checks for eggs multiple times through the day. :) He loves his Maisy! We recently bought a very large Labrador... She is wonderful... I can have her on the leash and she'll pull and run and be very hard to walk with, but when Logan takes the leash she'll try very hard not to pull. She runs in circles around him and goes to the end of where her leash extends to and then runs back the other way. GOOD dog. Anyway, Logan loves her dearly.

He loves meat... any and all. Fish, beef, chicken, pork prepared in any and all ways. :) Bacon, sausage and chicken are his favorite. He loves fruits and vegetables. He gets into the refrigerator and grabs a carrot or and apple. Yesterday, we had run out of apples so he took it upon him self to run downstairs, while I was in the shower, and get into our RENTER'S fridge and get one of THEIR apples. Fantastic. He loves his food! He didn't inherit my sweet tooth, just loves food. He loves music, learning, playing, dancing and reading. I have walked in and found him by himself looking through books many times. He is a big helper in the kitchen. Loves to cook, help Caleb, wash the chairs and help in the garden. We love our Logan!

Where in the world have you been?? He is getting so BIG I can't believe it...and I can only imagine how big Caleb is getting too! We seriously need to get together. The weather might start being decent enough for us to come out of our caves. I have had enough hybernation, bring on the sunshine!
