Bryton and Lexee came to stay with us for a week. We had a great time, even though it rained the ENTIRE WEEK!! We had to find lots of inside activities to keep them entertained. We dedicated the week to learning about pirates. We made cardboard box ships with their own pirate flags. They made pirate hats and had swords, read about real pirates and made treasure maps. At the end of the week, they followed a REAL map and found were able to find treasure. :) We made volcanoes and homemade lava lamps. It was a fun filled week. It's always a treat when they come to play!
